Where are you from?

Why did you choose GGC and how did you select your major?  I chose GGC because of the affordability and logistics of the commute. I am a nontraditional transfer student with an engineering background. I have always had an interest in mathematics, science and the human condition. Due to my interest in healthcare, I chose to apply to the nursing program. GGC and the GGC nursing program uniquely exemplify creativity, leadership, scholarship, and service. The success of GGC and the alumni it has produced makes it an established, first choice institution, and I can move forward with confidence knowing that I will be successful in my endeavor to achieve more in the GGC School of Health Sciences Nursing Program.

The Core Values of the Four Pillar Society are Leadership, Scholarship, Service, Creativity and Philanthropy. Which of these pillars do you most relate to?  I most closely relate with the pillar of Creativity. Although I value Leadership, Scholarship, and Service, I believe that the pillar of Creativity is the most essential for fulfilling my goal of becoming successful and indispensable in the workforce. After all, it is creativity that breathes life into the efforts of man; and creativity that gives society a soul, building culture.

Other Clubs and Organizations you are a member of: National Student Nurse Association, Gwinnett Grizzly Bear Association of Nursing Students, The National Society of Leadership and Success, Golden Key International Honor Society, and the GGC Honors Program.
