Meet the new School of Liberal Arts Dean!
Please join the GGC Alumni Association for a special event to meet the new Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, Dr. Theresa Winterhalter. Dean Winterhalter comes to GGC from Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong campus, where she was an associate dean in the College of Arts and Humanities. While overseeing eight departments and several interdisciplinary programs, she developed faculty recruitment and retention strategies; prepared areas for assessment and accreditation reviews, including Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) accreditation; developed community outreach programs and assessed performance of faculty across the college. Dean Winterhalter began her tenure at GGC on July 1st.
We are excited to provide School of Liberal Arts alumni an opportunity to meet the dean and hear her vision for the School as well as the relevance of Liberal Arts in the 21st century. There will be a Q&A opportunity following.
