Major: Business Management Information Systems
Class Year: 2018
Where are you from? Duluth, GA

Why did you choose GGC and how did you select your major? I chose GGC because they offered more flexibility and involvement between the students and faculty. Also, the location and campus of GGC is the best. My major is Economics. I chose the concentration of Economics because it relates to the things we do. Also, my professor Dr. Amanda Wilsker influenced my decision. I like Economics because it includes a variety of other business fields like accounting, management and marketing.I chose to choose to majoir within the information technology background because it is something I like and want to pursue a career that involves technology.

The Core Values of the Four Pillar Society are Leadership, Scholarship, Service, Creativity and Philanthropy. Which of these pillars do you most relate to? These core values all intertwine with each other, but the one that I relate the most to is leadership. When there is an opportunity to guide others who need assistance, I take that spot. Whether it is in a class discussion or sport, having one person add in everyone's works is better than multiple voices. When I played soccer, I played defense so I would be the voice of the team because I could see the whole field and keep the balance needed. Many people are afraid to speak up, but I believe it is better to give input than being upset of an unwanted outcome.

Other Clubs and Organizations you are a member of: GGC Honors Program, OLAS, National Honor Society of Leadership and Success, and Latino College Leadership Alliance.
