GGC Alumni Association Class Captains
The GGC Alumni Association and Office of Advancement are looking for enthusiastic alumni to serve as Class Captains for their class. Class Captains will play a vital role in building the GGC alumni community by connecting with GGC classmates, with each other, additional alumni, and the College.
Role of a Class Captain:
• Serve as liaison between the college and your classmates
• Help the Alumni Association gather alumni news for the newsletter and social media
• Make phone calls/send texts or emails to classmates about upcoming alumni activities and encourage them to attend (virtually, or when possible, in-person)
• Help encourage alumni involvement by signing annual giving letters to classmates, making phone calls/sending texts or emails and encouraging them to support GGC
Requirements of a Class Captain:
• Have a strong commitment to GGC and seeing it succeed and thrive
• Ability and drive to network with former classmates through various channels
• Make an annual financial contribution to GGC at any level
• Commit to a two-year term
• Be able to commit an average of two hours monthly
• Sign a GGC Confidentiality Agreement
