Why did you choose GGC and how did you select your major? I first came to GGC because of the great location and low tuition rates. I had planned to only stay here for two years and then transfer to a larger institution, however once I met the students, the Professors, and witnessed the services that GGC offers to its students, I knew I wanted to stay and graduate from here. I had planned on continuing to pharmacy school after getting a Biology degree from GGC, but this year I decided to change my major to Chemistry and minor in Biology. I chose to do this because I am more interested in learning about Chemistry and the different career fields related to the subject.
The Core Values of the Four Pillar Society are Leadership, Scholarship, Service, Creativity and Philanthropy. Which of these pillars do you most relate to? All four values are important to have, but I relate to creativity the most. I have always been interested in art and music, so creativity has always helped me in life both on and off the campus. Creativity helps me think of different ways to approach certain issues, and as a leader, it helps me find better ways to help serve the student body.
