Why did you choose GGC and how did you select your major? The reason why I chose GGC is because I like that it's diverse community. When I graduated from High School in 2013, I didn't know where I wanted to go, but when I visited this campus for the first time I just simply loved it. I always knew I liked the business environment so this is why I chose International Business as my major. GGC has given me the opportunity to explore different skills I didn't know I had in me. Throughout my involvement in the different organizations, I have been able to demonstrate leadership skills as well as great communication skills.

The Core Values of the Four Pillar Society are Leadership, Scholarship, Service, Creativity and Philanthropy. Which of these pillars do you most relate to? If I had to choose one core value I would choose "service" for may reasons. I believe If you don't have the value of service in you, it's really hard to show leadership and the other values as well. I have been representing this value since i was little. When I joined the Girl Scouts at an early age, I was able to do many service projects to serve the community. For example, reading to the elderly at shelters and also helping young children with their homework. I am very thankful to Girl Scouts because I not only learned how to serve my community, but I also learned how to make a difference in my local community. It only takes a few minutes for you to help change somebody's life. I am still a very active in this organization because It helps me appreciate and value of everything I have. I still volunteer at Girl Scouts events because I like to see how much it has grown since I was a little girl. When I attend to their girl scout troop meetings I share my experience as a Girl Scout and they love to hear this from someone young because they relate to me more. I like to share to the young girls about my experience at GGC and how college is important for their future. I tell them to stay in Girl Scouts because all those values and skills you learn will help you in every day life situations one may encounter. Overall, service is something I value deeply and have really close to my heart. Service not only means volunteering and helping someone. Service is about waking up every day and asking yourself who am I am going to help today? How will my attitude and behavior inspire others? Therefore, It's very important to have this value in you, in order to be successful.

Other Clubs and Organizations you are a member of: OLAS, Girl Scouts and the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA).
