While we may not be able to gather together this year and taste the chili, you can still get in on the chili fun! GGC’s very own Chef Charles has agreed to make a special chili based on ingredients that YOU vote on. The winning ingredients will be featured in a special chili to be served in the GGC Dining Hall on Thursday, October 15. The recipe will be featured on the Alumni Association website and we encourage you to send in a photo of you making Chef Charles’ mystery chili with your review!
Charles Friends serves as the appointed Executive Chef and brings his unique culinary talents to Georgia Gwinnett College. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Chef Charles' first experience with food began cooking in the kitchen with his mother who taught him to truly enjoy the creative process of cooking. Today, Chef continues to draw his culinary inspiration from his mother.
The chili will be "revealed" on the GGC and GGC Alumni Association Facebook and Instagram accounts on October 15 during lunch. Use the form below to vote on your favorite ingredients! Voting will close on October 7.
