GGC's Alumni Mentoring Program (AMP)

AMP is back for Fall! This spring’s pilot project of AMP was a great success with 22 alumni mentors and 12 student mentees. We are excited to announce that Athletics will be participating in the program this year. *GGC Athletics Alumni, please apply here.

The goal of AMP is to provide current students the benefit of getting to know an alumnus who has walked in their shoes at GGC and can help them navigate their own GGC experience. AMP will run through academic year 2021 and we are asking our mentors and mentees to commit to the full academic year. Due to our current situation, the program will be entirely virtual for the Fall. We will assess in the spring to hopefully allow for some in-person meetings.

Mentor Requirements:
- Participate in the virtual program orientation and welcome reception (TBD)
- Participate for the duration of the 2021 academic year which ends on May 10, 2021.
- Set clear and realistic goals with your mentee and be responsive by returning emails, texts, phone calls in a timely manner.
- Engage with mentees at least twice a month virtually
- Provide feedback to your mentee in a thoughtful and constructive manner.

Apply to become a mentor below. Applications will close on August 21.
